New death sentence
Judge agrees to death sentence for ballerina's killer
The man convicted of killing a University of Oklahoma ballet student nearly 10 years is now formally sentenced to die for the crime.
A Cleveland County district judge followed a jury's recommendation in giving Anthony Castillo Sanchez the death penalty for killing Juli Busken.
Sanchez was convicted in February of 1st-degree murder, rape and sodomy.
Busken disappeared from her apartment complex in the early morning hours of December 20th, 1996. Her body was found later that day at Lake Stanley Draper in southeastern Oklahoma City.
Sanchez was arrested and charged with the murder in 2004 when a D-N-A connected him to the crime scene.
