Arguments. The state Appeals Court is scheduled to hear arguments Monday for a death row inmate, less than two weeks from his scheduled execution. The Innocence Project filed a brief on behalf of Sedley Alley. They argue that Alley should allowed to use post conviction DNA evidence to prove his innocence. Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that another Tennessee inmate, Paul House, has the right to use DNA evidence to try to get off. The Innocence project hopes that case will convince the appeals court to allow the DNA testing in Alley's case. Source: www.newschannel5.com/content/news/20131.asp
