GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- One of the East Tennessee defendants in a death penalty trial in Greenville, South Carolina, has decided he doesn't want to attend the proceedings.
David Edens of Sevier County chose to stay in his cell Tuesday, delaying the trial for most of the morning before the judge decided the case should go on.
