Execution Of "Kill-For-Thrill" Murderer Set
A date has been set for the execution of a Clearfield County man convicted
of killing 4 people in a chilling cross-state murder spree 11 years ago.
Gov. Ed Rendell on Tuesday signed execution warrants 2 two men, including
35-year-old Mark Spotz.
Spotz is scheduled to die by lethal injection on July 25.
Spotz was found guilty of murdering 4 people in a matter of several days
during a "kill-for-thrill" spree in 1995.
The Supreme Court recently rejected his appeal.
