Dean Will Die for The Death Of Springfield Youth Leader
A jury decided Tuesday that Jason Dean will he pay with his life for
taking that of a Springfield youth mentor.
Dean was convicted of aggravated murder in the death of Titus Arnold. He
was found guilty on all counts, although he did not pull the trigger.
"When I heard the guilty verdict I was ok with that. I was just not, I
don't believe an eye for an eye. So I felt the death penalty was not going
to bring Titus back," said Titus Arnold's mother, Vicki Arnold.
She said she continues his mission. She's taken over his job at visions
for youth, and the Springfield community is also working to raise money to
build a rec center that will be named in Titus's honor.
