4 face federal death penalty case in Michigan triple-slaying
4 Washtenaw County men face a possible federal death penalty over a 2001 triple slaying at an Ypsilanti Township home.
An indictment unsealed today says that the 4 men shot 3 people in an attempt to steal drugs and money from the home.
Deondre Byrd, Terrance Smith, Eric Murray and Ronald Henderson are charged with murder, which carries a maximum penalty of death under federal charges.
They're also charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana.
Michigan state courts can't impose a death sentence.
